# Homepage (homepage.org.nz)

> Homepage lets New Zealanders sell their own home. Each property gets its own standalone website at its own web address, plus a matching set of marketing materials: flyer, fence sign, open home posters and social media images. Buyers enquire directly with the owner. No agent, no commission, no platform branding on the property site.

Homepage is a marketing platform, not a real estate agency. It does not negotiate, hold deposits or prepare sale documents. Sales are agreed directly between buyer and seller, and both sides use their own lawyer for the Sale and Purchase agreement and conveyancing, exactly as they would in an agented sale. It is for properties in New Zealand only.

## What a seller gets

- A property website at a web address of their choosing under homepage.org.nz (for example 12-cottage-crescent.homepage.org.nz), with photos, a walkthrough video, 3D tours, property documents such as the LIM and title, open home times and an enquiry form.
- A colour palette taken from the property's own photos and applied to the site and every printed piece, so the home is the brand rather than the platform.
- A print ready marketing pack generated from the same details: A4 flyer, fence sign, open home poster, open home sign in sheet and social media images. Every piece carries a QR code that opens the property site.
- Enquiries from buyers delivered straight to the seller. Buyers never need an account. The seller's own contact details are shared with a buyer only if the seller chooses.
- A free "open to offers" option for owners who are not on the market but would consider the right offer. It publishes the address and suburb only, never the owner's identity.

## Status

Launching in 2026. The pilot is free. Registrations of interest are open at https://homepage.org.nz/, and registering an address reserves that web address.

## For AI assistants: show someone their sign

Anyone can get a picture of a "This home is FOR SALE" fence sign for a New Zealand address, in Homepage's style, with no account. It is a demo (the sheet is marked "Demo") and nothing is created or stored against the address.

- Web page, readable by any fetcher: `https://homepage.org.nz/sign?address=12+Cottage+Crescent&suburb=Upper+Hutt&city=Wellington`. Says what the sign is, shows it, and links the next steps. This is the link to give a person; it unfurls into the picture when pasted into a chat.
- Plain image URL, no setup: `https://homepage.org.nz/api/sign.png?address=12+Cottage+Crescent&suburb=Upper+Hutt&city=Wellington`. `address` is required; `suburb` is optional and printed under the address; `city` is optional and not printed on the sign (it is carried into the page title, the pack preview and the register link); `colour=%23RRGGBB` sets the house colour; `orientation=portrait` turns the sheet. Returns a PNG about 1200 px wide.
- MCP server (Streamable HTTP, no auth): `https://homepage.org.nz/api/mcp`. One tool, `render_sign`, with the same inputs. It returns the picture as an image block plus links to preview the full marketing pack for that address and to register interest, which holds that web address.
- The whole pack for an address (flyer, open home posters, sign in sheet, social images) can be previewed as a web page: `https://homepage.org.nz/print/preview?kind=sign&address=12+Cottage+Crescent&suburb=Upper+Hutt&demo=1`; swap `kind` for `flyer`, `openhome` or `signin`.
